Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Race: Pumpkin Run (5 Miles) 00:40:15
Total Distance
10.00

Ran the Riverton/Herriman Pumpkin run which went very well. The downhill portion of the run was very nice and my legs carried me very well. The last two miles were a killer being all uphill. The quads were burning I just darn near ran out of gas but was able to pass several people during the climb. Afterwards I ran the course again with Alan at a 10 minute recovery pace. Felt really nice to just relax and churn in some miles. Very comfortable race weather about 50 degrees this morning.

Oh, man! Next year!

I am glad the weather cooperated with you and that you had a good time. And I am glad that you got a COOL shirt!

Hey, Eric, great job!! That was a really fast time. I'm glad the weather was better than the cold, windy weather we had last year. Remember, you beat me in that race too! Keep up the great running!
