Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Finally caught up on some much needed sleep. I almost feel like a brand new person. Went for a short run this afternoon and the temperature was perfect. The leaves are changing I believe Fall is my favorite time of year to run. Too bad Utah doesn't have any late fall marathons. St George is nice but a run through our canyons with all the fall colors would be quite a draw.

Wow, that was quite a bit of sleep! You are putting in quite the miles this week. Good job!

Cheryl, we are meeting saturday morning at the Gardner Village south lot for a run. You ought to come and bike so we can see you again.

That sounds like fun. What time are you meeting?

From erico on Thu, Oct 16, 2008 at 18:46:11

The plan is to meet at 7:00am at the lot south of Gardner Village because I am not sure if the trail access is open yet. I am planning on a slow 8-10 mile run. I am sure some speedy people will show up too.

I'm glad it's 7am and not 6am. However, my boy has a 9am football game, so if I can convince Penrod to do all the work of getting him ready (and if it's not too cold) I'll be there on the bike.
