Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Met Alan, Debbie Chris and Daniel at the Gardner Village Trailhead for a run. Very nice morning and much warmer than it has been for a while. Lots of very interesting and though provoking discussion which made the miles fly by which says a lot when you are averaging 9:30 miles. I would like to try to keep a base of 40 to 50 miles a week through the winter. So far I have been able to do it 2 weeks out from St. George. Looking for a winter marathon, possibly the Tecumseh Trail marathon or the Philadelphia Marathon.

I have said it before, but I will say it again---you are a running machine! When soccer is over, we would love to join you for one of those Saturday runs!

I wanted to maintain 40-50 as well, and i have managed one week in the 20's and one in the 30's. Dang it!

That's so awesome about the Del Sol Relay. I hope you guys do it! It'd be fun to meet up with you guys at the finish line or something.

Also, there is a really decent winter maraton here--PF Changs Rock 'N Roll, but it is on a Sunday, not sure how you feel about that.

Good luck in your training!

Actually have been thinking about Arizona. I have a nephew that ran it last year and is trying to get me to commit to running. It doesn't take much twisting to get me to run a marathon.

Are you doing Del Sol?? Did I miss that somewhere? Scott and I are, too. We are excited for it, big time!
