Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.
I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!
Personal:
Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.
Met Scott and Kelli for a run out on Lehi. Allan was also there along with a ton of people from the blog. The weather was nice and cool without a breeze. A very nice location and the run went by very quickly. Another run in the books.
Thanks for coming! I hope you liked the trail. For some reason Scott and I have fallen in love with it. It has just enough challenge on one side to keep us working hard, but plenty of flat spots as well!
Now, I will have to make it to one of your Saturday runs and compare the other end of the JR Parkway!!!
Hope the Christmas shopping went well. And tell your wife I am proud of her for leaving Wal Mart---DANGEROUS!!!!! However, standing away from it all and watching was amusing (and scary!)
Have a good one!
