Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Didn't feel that well this morning when the alarm goes off so I went back to bed. I am such a slacker. When I don't feel well I know I won't be able to keep up with the group so I will try another day. I did however make it for an afternoon run which I took very slow. My quads have been very tight lately, probably because of all the hills I have run lately. I love this weather, 70's in October, who would have thought.

It is perfect weather when the sun comes up!

Hey, at the gym today a lady was wearing one of the Pumpkin Run shirts. You are right---they are very nice!! GOOD JOB!

Wish I had one....next year! I will skip soccer if I have to!

We missed you, but when you run 12.5 the day before I can see why you would want to sleep. I wish I could say I was down anything in 2 weeks, I was up 4 so I need to do some cross training. First I need to join a gym. See you tomorrow.

Kelli, thanks for the positive feedback on the race shirt. I have done two so far for Riverton City and hopefully they ask me to create some more for next year. Yeah, you won't want to miss next year, they do a great job putting on the race, and everyone came away with prizes from the drawings.
