Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Finally, I was able to get caught up on some sleep. I woke up feeling tired and week and decided to opt out this mornings running group. Felt bad because we did not meet last week with all the snow. I took some medication hoping that my sinus would clear. This afternoon I had a bit of cabin fever and went out for a run. My head feels much better, hopefully this will not last long.

This year has just flown by. So much has happened with many trials and blessing but I do feel confident that the best is yet to come. I enjoy my work, my wife and family and feel grateful to have good friends to run with. This coming year I would like to obtain a marathon PR. It will mean some hard training but it will be worth it.

I'm glad to see a big number in your night sleep time. This coming year is going to be great, I'm sure of it. We'll be right there next to you training, so we can all train hard together.

You can do it, I am sure of that! You are one of the hardest workers I know out there!

Glad you have gotten some sleep, it is very important! I do not think anyone realizes how important until they are seriously deprived of it!

Kelli,

Nice to see you back on the blog. Hope you had a nice vacation. Yes, it was very nice to get some sleep. Everything seems to go better with some rest.

Peggy, looking forward to some great workouts. I just need to believe that I can keep up with pack and make it happen. Are you interested in doing Lisa's Riverton route this weekend to check out the mileage? I believe it is supposed to be clear.
