Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

I feel like such a slacker. I opted for more sleep than getting up earlier and going to running group. I always feel guilty when I miss because not everyone has the opportunity to run with a group. After the guilt wore off about noon time I went for a short run. It was very windy and it seems like a storm might be coming after all.

Not everyone has a group to run with, BUT not everyone has the opportunities you have to run in the afternoon! If I had that, I would NEVER get up early!!!

See you Thursday?!?

Hey, I slacked today, but I am waiting to hear if you ran in the wee am hours!

Kelli,

I am the official slacker this week. I have been so occupied with work that I have not had a chance to get out. With the marathon this weekend I'll probably get away with it, but next week it is back to the disciplined runner. I really wanted to run this morning but the gravitational pull of my bed was just too strong to overcome.

Gravity beat us both down today!! But, I bet you ran something, and I DID not.

BEST of LUCK with the marathon and we will see you soon after that! Have fun in that crazy place.
