Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

6:30 am start with a few of the Bingham Buttkickers. Everyone ran a comfortable pace for 16 miles around the Riverton and Herriman area. The weather was almost perfect this morning although I did get a little cold later into the run. I have to say that 16 miles with friends goes by much faster with friends than going at it alone.

Great job!!! We missed you this morning and so did the muffins! I hope you had a great run (looks like you got your 16!) The trail was really icey for the first half, so I hope you ran a better route!

Eric, from Michelle's report it looks like you had a good speedy run. I definately wasn't feeling it today, but the positive note is I didn't die and I feel pretty good now! Have a great weekend, and have you looked at your yearly mileage lately?!? You are a machine, keep up the good work!!

Kelli,

It turned out to be such a busy day that I figured it would be best to start early and close to home. Sorry to bail out on you guys. I missed everyone and the muffins but we did put in a good run.

How was the Lehi run and who turned out? I probably need to check your entry and get the report. I really enjoyed that run and hopefully I can work it into the schedule again when I get some of the honey do's completed.

Rachel,

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have really enjoyed running this year! It is so nice to have friends that are willing to hang back a little bit and run with me. Hopefully the mileage will pay off and I can drop some of these pounds and gain some speed in the process.

I was telling Kelli Sat that I think my weight loss has contributed more to my speed than anything! I certainly haven't noticed a need for you to loose weight, but we all know our own bodies, right? I think you'll definately feel the speed come easier as you're lighter, just don't loose too much! :)
