Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Did someone turn on the air conditioning or what? It was very cold this morning, about 16 degrees. Hopefully just a few more weeks of running in an icebox.

I met Rob this morning for a run, we put in eight and a half miles together. Most working on a tempo pace. Started out comfortably and ran the last two miles pretty hard. Rob is a lot faster than I am so it is good to be gently pushed without me getting too far behind.

I ended up putting another 2 miles getting back to my house. It felt really good to have my workout over and done with so early in the day.

Kelli,

That is not very nice to say, all I did was go for a run. What is so nuts about that?

From Rachel on Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 00:26:59

Eric- I can answer that...16 degrees and 10 miles? Didn't you learn your lesson on Saturday? I thought that was enough, but you just keep going out for more! :) We're just so inspired by all that you do that we're a little jealous and have to call you nuts to make us feel better for our laziness!

Yep, that was it!!! 16 degrees is NUTS!!! And, yes, to the laziness as well. You are such a hard core runner, SERIOUSLY!! Rain or shine, snow or sleet, ice or burning asphalt, ERIC is out running!

You are AWESOME!!!!! Was that nicer?
