Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Great run this morning. It was not too cold and I even took off my jacket for this morning's workout. It was great to see so many friends out and running. It was great to see Debbie back at the running group and get caught up on the holidays. Looking forward to getting back into core training and it seems that several others are interested in doing the same. It will be great to have people checking up on how the workouts are going.

Some are going to Painter's this weekend, Alan and I are opting for Butterfield Canyon to run on some ice and snow. Crazy yes, fun… of course!

We know you two are crazy! Stay away from all of the crazy drivers up that canyon. They freak me out!

Good to see you running past me today. Seriously, how on earth do you just let yourself go and fly down those hills? I watch you and I am always so scared you are going to fall----but you never do! Speedy Gonzales hill runner.

Eric - I'm so glad to hear that you have plans for Sat and at Butterfield! Its closer to my house than the grocery store! :) I would love to join you as a fellow Painters orphan. Great hill work this morning, I liked Kimberly's pace...you and Kelli kick my trash on those hills, up and down. We'll see how the canyon goes. Kelli - the canyon is closed in winter and no cars YEA! let me know what time you're planning on meeting there and I might just run down and meet you there.

I believe we will meet at the gate about 7:00am. I will send out an email before to firm up the details. I love that run, it is challenging and beautiful all at the same time!

I am so impressed at how fast Kelli climbs hills! I think it is much more impressive to run up quickly than to just tuck-n-roll down the hill.

I beg to differ. Anyone can run up, running down takes serious control and talent!
