Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Incredible day for running inside. Outside was so cold and windy this morning that it almost seemed unbearable. Peggy planned a run at the Olympic Oval and several of us from the running group tagged along. It was simply incredible. There was two hockey games going on, the olympic team was doing 500m time trials and plenty of runners going around the track. I feel so spoiled having such a great facility in my own backyard. Most of the laps I ran were with Alan, Michelle and Kelli. Scott, Peggy and Mike were doing their own thing but it was nice to visit once in a while. I finished a total of 11 at the track. I ran another five this afternoon.

Wow, you guys are amazing, running that much at the track. Wish I could have joined you, these Saturday morning runs just haven't worked out for me for some reason. Maybe after the holidays. See you next week.

I KNEW you would run more later! You are a machine. I could hardly walk, that track killed my knees! But I did enjoy it and was so glad I had people to chat with!
