Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

It rained cats and dogs during my entire run. Reminded me of the St. George Marathon this past October. Hopefully there are some dry days ahead.

I hate the rain for running but love when it cancels all the activities and I get to stay home on a Saturday!

Jody,

my son was very upset when his soccer game was canceled this morning but I breathed a sigh of relief. I have to agree with you. It was nice to stay home. It was also too wet to work in the yard, so yet another plus!

What is the deal? All of our games still went on. It was cold and wet and miserable!

Smooth mentioned that a few times...this feels like St George. I guess this way we'll be ready for whatever weather Ogden throws at us! Except heat....DANG!! Still not ready :(
