Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Ran around the neighborhood this morning and then an afternoon run. It was so warm this afternoon and I was over-dressed! It must have been 45 degrees and I was wishing for shorts and a tshirt! What a beautiful day, too bad I had to spend most of it cramped in an office.

I so wanted to run yesterday afternoon! I totally would have worn shorts and a long sleeved t-shirt. BEAUTIFUL weather. Why can't we have that in the morning and then the crappy stuff later in the day?!?

It was good to see you for about 3 seconds today! Who was the girl you and Alan were running with?? I missed introductions today (or maybe she is not knew as I have been AWOL as of late.)

Do you have a run planned for Saturday anywhere?

Kelli,

The new girl is Kim. I believe she is on the blog but I don't know what name she goes by. Anyways, she knew Walter before. Seems very nice. I was blown away at how large running group was this morning. What is summer going to be like? I am truly getting spoiled because I would never run in the morning by myself again.

There is a run planned for this Saturday. At 6:30am we are going to meet at the Riverton City pool parking lot and test out the Riverton Half Marathon course. Should be a nice run. I believe Cheryl or Peggy was going to send out an email with directions.

Oh, yeah, I was hoping to check that run out! We will be there (unless, of course, we get burried in the snow).
