Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Too darn lazy to get up this morning. Still trying to shake this sinus headache that has been going off and on for weeks. I have been popping Sudafed like candy but to my surprise, running seems to loosen things up.

Waited till 9:00pm to go for a run. It was cold dark and windy, but hey, a runs a run.

9 PM and you still got 10 miles??!? Okay, I'm impressed. I'm just trying to get 40 in this week and it seems to be going okay so far. Kelli is doing the same head cold thing this week too and I'm sorry! I feel like this winter I've only been sick and sicker. Can't wait for spring! Maybe we'll just have to run through winter :)

Rachel,

I think you are right! We just need to get through the winter and hopefully the warm weather will help dry these sinuses out. I feel bad that Kelli is going through the same thing.

Eric--We missed you both days this week. Hope you get to feeling better. Just a few more weeks of cold weather, and then things should be ok.
