Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Nice to see you back Eric. Glad you're getting those runs in, they definately can help. I've thought and pondered and prayed and thought and pondered and prayed what to say to you and your precious family. However, I don't think there is anything I can say that would help. Please just know that my heart, tears and prayers are going out to you and yourr wonderful family and that your not alone in your mourning!!!

Rachel,

Thanks for your kind words. Even though things have been tough, my family has felt a lot of love and support. It means so much to be in thoughts of others, we have felt a very tangible feeling of peace.

I hope you are doing well and hope to see you and the group again when things settle down.
