Running Accomplishments:

Once beat Cheryl at the Hobble Creek Half Marathon about three years ago, and kept up with Peggy for 100m four years ago. Completion of 52 marathons to date.

I enjoy the marathon distance. It demands consistency in training and provides a constant goal to work towards. Could not run without the support of my great family and friends. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy would be the number one goal. To accomplish this long-term feat I need to cross-train and add strength training into the mix.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Someday I would like to qualify for Boston although at the moment it seems very tough!

Personal:

Love running, music, art, food, friends and family in no particular order it just depends on the day.

Went on a short trail run. Got a little road rash coming down a steep incline which was a little uncomfortable. Better luck next time.

Less than stellar conditions for a race although the temperature was nice. Felt strong during the entire race but never got my turn-over fast-enough to do anything great. Hopefully next year will be different. More miles, more sleep and less weight will make a difference. 

Started to have a good time once I started to think how crazy the weather was and he we all are running our guts out. A race that builds character for some.
